"Back Pain Rehabilitation" is a wonderful example of a paper on the musculoskeletal system. Recovery from Back pain is can be administered through various rehabilitation programs involving exercises. These rehabilitation exercises can be categorized into aerobic conditioning, strengthening, and stretching of the back that is meant to work out the extensors, flexors, and rotators which form the back. However, a complete rehabilitation program involves a combination of the above exercises, in order to be effective, as they have varying importance.

Stretching exercises bring about elasticity and flexibility in the muscles and tendons. In addition, they also strengthen muscles close to the injured tissues. Stretching exercises to ease back pain are mainly the hip rolls, cat stretch, and back extensions. The strengthening exercises aimed at strengthening the back. Strengthening exercises include sit-ups, core exercises, and leg raises and is generally categorized into two types of physical therapies i.e. McKenzie which focuses on stretching and Lumbar stabilization exercise. Facilitation training which involves loading and unloading of the lumbar spine by extension exercises reduces back pains. Back pain is still rehabilitated through low-impact aerobic exercises. These exercises include water therapy or pool therapy, walking, and stationary biking which aid in maintaining the lower back mostly (Mooney 2).

In conclusion, the most appropriate mode of rehabilitating back pain programs depends on the preferences of the patient and the nature of back pain. It is better to discuss with a licensed physical therapist the best mode of rehabilitation exercise program before its application. This is because depending on the degree of back pain, whether it is lower back pain or upper back pain the exercise program varies accordingly.
