The mother delivered twins early in the week and Jane is the only person who can assume the responsibility of supporting the family. She summarized her speech by asking for any form of support to her family. Her story and her sense of responsibility moved me to tears and her sincerity motivated me to donate to her all the money that I had in my wallet. The experience confirmed three of my traits; being compassionate, judgmental, and generous. I empathize with people’s distressful circumstances.

Even though I lost trust in people who pose as the needy, I analyze them to judge if they are sincere. A conviction of their sincerity evokes my donation, even if I also had just a little and these traits were fundamental to my decision to donate to Jane because she was convincing and motivating.
